pogoda is weather dashboard made with the following modern web technologies: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgresQL, and styled-components. taking inspiration from other weather dashboard applications, pogoda aims for a minimal, simple, and flat UI.

it is responsive at different screen widths. it is customizable, and will remember any settings you change. you can also choose to use your current location. it isn't stored if you do!

the weather data comes from OpenWeather.

the city information resides in a PostgreSQL database located on Supabase. the dataset comes from the following npm package which contains a list of 138,938 cities in the world with a population of at least 1000 inhabitants.

as for the name of the application, pogoda means weather in Polish.
